Pilot operated self-actuated pressure reducing valve

The self-operated pressure reducing valve is a valve that automatically adjusts the inlet pressure to a required outlet pressure and relies on the energy of the medium itself to keep the outlet pressure stable. Although there is a certain pressure loss of the medium through the pressure reducing valve, it is an energy-saving product because it reduces the waste of the medium and makes the system flow distribution reasonable, thereby improving the system layout and working conditions. When the medium is steam, it is advisable to choose a pilot piston pressure reducing valve or a pilot diaphragm pressure reducing valve. For ease of operation, adjustment and maintenance, pressure reducing valves should generally be installed on horizontal pipes.
